Heike Schäfer's teaching experience spans several areas. She teaches double bass and string ensembles, is a juror at Swiss youth music competitions, and offers private lessons and mentoring.

Lessons
School
Heike Schäfer teaches at the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich (MKZ), the music school Kilchberg-Rüschlikon and accompanies children, teenagers and adults with passion on their musical journey.
Private lessons
Whether you want to get started on the double bass, prepare for an orchestral project or simply try it out - private lessons are open to everyone.

Advice & further training
Heike Schäfer offers further education courses for double bass - from the introduction of the double bass as a new instrument in music schools to its special role in string ensembles. In addition, as a school practice consultant, she accompanies music teachers in their lessons in order to exchange ideas about processes, resources and development opportunities.
